BISP New Update – Unblocked all cards under Benazir program

Bisp New Update Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Faisal Karim Kundi has said that the process of payment of installments under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will start from July 03 (Monday). In a message to eligible women under BISP here on Sunday, he urged them to collect their installments from specified retailers and inform them in case of any complaints.

He said that 0.9 million cards of BISP which were suspended by the previous PTI government including 7000 cards of D eligible women. I Khan is being unblocked. He added that BISP teams are officially getting in touch with people whose cards have been unblocked. More than 250000 cards have been recovered thus far.

Blocked card holders should either contact the local BISP office or send a message to 8171, Mr Kundi said. In order to address the complaints of the beneficiaries, he said that a new system of direct collection from banks is being introduced during this month, while the dynamic survey will be continued even after Eid-ul-Azha.

Now women should text their ID card to 8171 if your card was blocked in PTI government. If you qualify then you will be eligible for installment of 9000 after 3 months then you will get 9000 after 3 months. Remember that you still need to have a poverty score of 32 or less and you or your spouse must not have traveled abroad or have a large vehicle registered in his/her name.
